The Iao needle on Maui is a must-see. Pictures don’t do it justice. You are surrounded by a rich green forest. A river runs past and it rains a lot, but it’s a misty rain. There is a stair case that leads up and across a bridge to a lookout where you can get a breath taking view of the needle itself. We also walked along a trail near the river for a short distance.
