The best way to hike this trail is to go to Harper’s Ferry and park in the big parking lot. Then take the tour bus to downtown Harper’s Ferry and walk the train bridge across the river where the trailhead starts. Most of the trail is just a road that winds up the mountain to a small trail that splits off and descends to the lookout. As you can tell by the pictures, there is always a crowd on the rocky lookout.
