Utah – Dry Fork Slot Canyon

Dry Fork Canyon is located in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

Follow the trail (as described in this blog post: https://hiking.frankdecaire.com/2019/11/09/utah-spooky-slot-canyon/). You’ll see the Dry Fork Slot Canyon to the left on the trail.

This canyon does not get very narrow like spooky or peek-a-boo. It’s an easy hike and there are only a few places where you need to climb up a ledge (maybe 2 feet high at the most). If you hike into this canyon, follow it back out. This canyon goes straight West and peek-a-boo (which is the next canyon over) is straight North. So walking across the top is a long hike.

Oh yeah. You can bring your dog. No leash.
This is the end of the canyon. As I mentioned earlier, it’s a shorter distance to go back through the canyon than to try and walk around.
