Monarch Cave is located in lower Butler Wash, Utah. The parking area is approximately 6.9 miles from the Southern entrance. Here’s the overall map of butler wash:
The parking area is shaped like this and there were dry toliets in the triangle part when we arrived:
From the parking area, the trail starts down a narrow drop:
The trail on this ruin is easy to follow.
Eventually, the trail will run into rocks. Just climb those rocks and follow the trail. Once you reach the top, you should start to see the ruins.
You can climb to the ledge and work your way near the ruins, but I wouldn’t recommend attempting to enter the ruins.
