On our way to Yellowstone, we stopped at the Tetons national park. In fact, you have to drive through the park to get to the South exit of Yellowstone. There are many pull-offs to take pictures and a paved bike trail that runs for miles.
The lake is the most famous part of the park and the view does not disappoint. There are numerous trails that lead around the lake and up the mountain. Be aware that bear encounters are common in this region. Most people pack bear spray. Make sure it’s accessible and not buried in the bottom of your pack.
