The Wind Caves Trail is located near Logan, Utah. There are two parking locations right off highway 89. This hike consists of a grueling switchback. The wind cave is approximately 2 miles with an elevation gain of just over 1,000 feet. All photos are clickable to see a larger version.
At this point, we were standing on top of the cave.
At first, you’ll see a hole down into the cave. You can climb down and walk around inside. The trail continues up the mountain from here, but it’s extremely steep.
There is an unsanctioned trail that splits off from one of the switchbacks. This is a small flat trail that leads to these tiny caves.
