Utah – Movie Rocks Trail

This 1.1 mile trail is what I consider very difficult. The trail is steep in many places (39% grade) and consists of loose gravel on top of a rocky surface. The view, however, is spectacular.

I had difficulty finding the name for this trail when I stumbled across it on The Hiking Project’s website.

The above photos are to the first rock outcroppings. This is before the very large rocks.
The next two photos are looking down on Jacob’s ladder trail.
If you’re at the parking lot and looking up at Lone Peak, the above arrow shows where the Movie Rocks are located.
