To get to the trail head it’s easier to park at the Harper’s Ferry parking area and take the Little Town Trail. This trail leads down a hill and onto Shoreline Drive. Take the sidewalk to the freeway bridge over the river. There is a walkway along side the freeway that allows hikers to cross to the other side. The trail starts on that side of the bridge. There are signs along the way so it’s difficult to get lost.
