The shipbuilding area had a lot of hands on activities. The pulley comparison was great. You can physically compare a simple pulley with one that had more ropes but a larger lift capacity.
There was an area with some uniform parts that you can dress up in for photographs.
There were demonstrations of how the inhabitants of the fort lived and what their day to day jobs were.
