When we visited NASA in 2012, they had a rare tour of the Vehicle Assembly Building that we took. The tour included a viewing of the space shuttle Discovery that was being cleaned up before being transported to the Smithsonian annex. Then the tour bus transported us to a viewing site behind the complex 39A and B launch pads. After that, we were dropped off at the Saturn V exhibit.
